Counseling
Counseling rooted in understanding, not judgment
Our counselors combine proven therapeutic approaches with genuine lived experience to help you feel truly heard.
Our Methods
Evidence-based approaches, tailored to you
We draw from several proven frameworks and adapt them to fit where you are right now.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Practical skills for managing intense emotions, building distress tolerance, and improving relationships.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Identify and reshape the thought patterns that drive anxiety, low mood, and self-doubt.
Trauma-Informed Care
Every session is grounded in safety, choice, and trust — never re-traumatizing, always at your pace.
Harm Reduction Model
Meeting you where you are with compassion, without judgment, and honoring your own definition of progress.
How long are sessions?
Individual counseling sessions typically run 45–50 minutes, giving enough time to dig into what matters without feeling rushed.
How often will I meet with my counselor?
Most clients start with weekly sessions, then shift to every other week as they build momentum — your counselor will adjust the pace with you.
Lived Experience
Counselors who have walked a similar path
Many of our counselors bring their own lived experience to their work — with mental health, trauma, recovery, or difficult relationships. That shared understanding makes it easier to connect, to be believed, and to feel less alone.
It also means our team supports one another the same way we support you: with honesty, empathy, and zero judgment. Healing happens faster when the person across the screen truly gets it.
Lived experience is paired with clinical training so you get both genuine understanding and skilled, evidence-based care.
